At Embrace, we believe life isn’t about limits: it’s about possibilities. And that belief is at the heart of our new campaign: #EmbracingLifeYourWay. We’re celebrating the power, the beauty, and the individuality of family life in all its forms – and every family out there is invited to join us.
Embrace has always been about supporting families living with disabilities, and showing how they can live just as joyfully, boldly and fully as anyone else – and with this campaign, we want to share in your family life too. Whatever your story, wherever you are, we want to see how you embrace life your way.
What’s the #EmbracingLifeYourWay Campaign About?
Every family is on a unique journey. There’s no one-size-fits-all, no perfect path—just real families, doing life in their own brilliant way. And we think that’s something worth celebrating and shouting about to the world.
Embrace is all about shining a spotlight on families living with disabilities and how we support them – but with this campaign, we’re celebrating the uniqueness of all families. Whether you’re navigating life with a disability or not, we believe every family has something beautiful to share; and our campaign is going to be a showcase of the little wins, the big milestones, and everything in between that make up the beautiful patchwork of everyday family life.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing stories, videos, photos, and voices from across our Embrace community: families who are thriving in their own way, and who are showing that embracing life with a disability doesn’t mean giving up on dreams; it just means doing things a little differently. Families who are showing the world that there’s no “right” way to do life, only your way. We’ll be using the hashtag #EmbracingLifeYourWay – and we want you to use it too!
What Do We Want To See?
Whether you're baking together on a Sunday, conquering a new challenge, dancing in the kitchen, or cuddling up after a long day - we want to see it and celebrate it. It could be a moment of laughter, a creative solution to a challenge, a proud achievement, or just a little slice of your day. Whatever embracing life looks like to you, we’d love to see it and share it.
Here’s how you can join us in spreading the message:
• Post a photo or video showing how you or your family are embracing life your way.
• Tag us @embracecharity
• Use the hashtag #EmbracingLifeYourWay in your posts
It could be joyful, heartfelt, silly, or simply real. Your story could inspire another family, help someone feel less alone, or show the world what love in action looks like. We’ll be sharing stories from anywhere and everywhere. This campaign is for everyone, and we want to fill our feeds with diverse, uplifting glimpses into real family life.
It’s More Than a Campaign – It’s a Movement
This campaign isn’t just about raising awareness, and it’s more than a hashtag – it’s a movement. A movement that celebrates all families, and says that every family’s story matters; that says life can be joyful, messy, funny, challenging, and full of love; and that everyone deserves a life full of joy, connection, and possibility.
We hope you’ll join us. Because when families feel seen, supported, and celebrated, they thrive: and at Embrace, that’s what we’re all about. Let’s show the world what embracing life really looks like: #EmbracingLifeYourWay
How Embrace Makes a Difference
At Embrace, we don’t just support the individual – we wrap our arms around the whole family. We understand that disability touches everyone in a household: the siblings who learn empathy beyond their years, the parents balancing care with everyday life, and the friends who become part of the journey.
Our services range from tailored one-to-one support, family fun days, and peer groups to emotional wellbeing sessions and practical guidance. We help families feel seen, understood, and connected – not just to support, but to create a community.
With your help, we can grow that community. By raising awareness, sharing stories, and expanding our reach, we can support more families, inspire more change, and show more people what’s possible.
As we grow this campaign, we’re also looking to build partnerships and attract more funding. If you believe in what we’re doing, and want to help us reach more families, please consider supporting us – whether it’s through sharing our message, making a donation, or starting a conversation.
